The Celtic Dance Players are based in Weymouth and usually play in Devon, Dorset, Hampshire, Somerset and Wiltshire. We do travel further afield at times. |
There is a Scottish flavour to our instrumental music - traditional reels, jigs, strathspeys, waltzes, etc. We also have a repertoire of emotive airs and ballads plus a large selection of Irish music. Our audiences enjoy a good old sing-along to well-known pub/music hall favourites. Modern and Latin rhythms too are part of our performances. |
