This is our usual 'outdoors kit'. We play in all sorts of temperatures as long as our fingers do not freeze up! Sometimes we might appear to be fatter - several layers might be necessary. We have only worried once - when it was so hot that the glue holding the instruments together might melt. |

For most occasions we dress formally in full highland outfits of Royal Stewart tartan. We do not wear jackets when we play as this is too restrictive. |
|
|
|
At the end of a performance we are often tired out. Our music is fast and furious at times and very energetic. In contrast to the quicker tunes are emotive waltzes, airs and ballads. Romantic music to savour. |
